Do any of you watch the TV programme 'Don't tell the bride'? I used to watch it quite religiously and now Elizabeth and I, have 'Don't-tell-the-bride' kind of wedding on our hands. 2 weeks ago, we received a bit of a last minute enquiry to photograph wedding of this lovely couple. Having met them both at a wedding of Bella & Lee, that we've photographed earlier this month, we knew what we were letting ourselves in for,... lots of fun!!!
Meet charismatic, energetic & bubbly art teacher Claire and her handsome 'soon pilot to be/ husband to be' Lewis, and let me tell you little bit about their story, because it's a really interesting one. :-)
Childhood sweethearts, Claire & Lewis, have been together 9 and half years and trust me if you look up word 'chemistry' in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of them right next to it. :-) Adventurous Claire moved to the USA last year where she teaches arts while she figures out what she would like to do in the future. Claire's told us she would love to get back into illustrations and paintings, and moving to America was the adventure she needed to feel inspired. Having left Lewis to deal with all the preparations for the wedding, she has only vague idea of what's going to happen on Friday. Well obviously she knows they are about to get married, so she bought her dress. Very wise Claire! Choosing a wedding dress is one thing no woman should ever let her man do. :-) We know the venue, and we know that it's going to be a vintage themed wedding and we are super-excited to be part of it all!
So if you're curious to find out if Lewis has managed to pull it all off and can't wait to see Claire's dress, watch this space... :-)
To be continued on Friday 1th June... :-)
