Helen & Geoff {Wedding}, 11th April 2012

Last week I had the privilege of covering Helen and Geoff's wedding at the beautiful Sandon Hall! Helen and Geoff had a very small intimate ceremony surrounded by a circle of their closest family and friends. Although the day started with a bit of snow and hail, the sun came out in the afternoon to congratulate the newlyweds.

The ceremony was held in the library and the registrar gave a reading - Wedding Day by Robert Palmer (1945-1997) ... here is an excerpt from the poem ...

' The day of your wedding is a time to reflect
On the things you can hope for and the things to expect

You could hope for great riches, huge bundles of cash
But then lose it all in a stock market crash

Expect time of anger the occasional huff
Because no-one annoys you like the one that you love

But don't look for problems that the future may bring
Just to love and be loved is a wonderful thing

Life's not all plan sailing, not always a ball
But I know you'll be happy because LOVE CONQUERS ALL !'

Here are some of my favourite shots from the day...

Georgina & Kristian {Wedding} 24th March 2012

This is it, ladies and gentlemen – our first wedding of this season!

Georgina & Kristina tied the knot at the Holy Trinity Church  in Colton on the 24th March, followed by a amazing reception at their very own pub Ye Old Dun Cow… [They treated us to a roast chicken dinner and we have to say, it was deeeelicious! We highly recommend you all to visit this pub if you happen to be in the area. :-)]

We couldn't hope for a better wedding to start off this season with. When we first met this couple, we immediately connected with them, they are fun, outgoing and guess what!? Their friends and family are exactly the same! We've never laughed so much on a job and by the end of the day we were jokingly complaining to each other about jaw ache. Not only was the atmosphere great, allowing us to capture some relaxed and natural shots of everyone but the amount of handmade details was just mind-blowing: signs, lanterns, flowers, place settings, you name it! And all in our favourite vintage style!

We are absolutely thrilled to be able to share a selection of photographs from their Big Day with you... Feast your eyes!
